ceramic order ahoi

a quick pic snatched before the two ceramic dishes went over the counter just a few minutes ago... often enough i only have one piece per colour and so i almost regret to sell the pieces (which of course isn't the idea). since many other colours/shapes are not available in the shop anymore i'm planning on a new order. as always you're welcome to make special orders, get back to me for any questions.

it wasn't planned but today i bought new t-towls, handprinted in zurich. in this case a gold lobster (looks olive green here but it's gold)printed on half linen/half cotton. makes for a very nice present.

it's out of the closet

there you have it, i couldn't resist... (or were you naive enough to think i could?)

so i've ordered some printed t-shirts and sweaters (i didn't get all the designs i wanted but then i'm already lucky to get something for this season).

i have to stop you in your tracks: no these tops are not available for adults. and yes, it's unfair. but at least you will be able see your kids wearing the stuff and it will make you smile. not to mention of the lovely present idea that is now yours.

i expect the mini collection to arrive around mid-month.

old friend

i try not to show it in the shop but in reality, i'm a walking chaos. 

yesterday i lost the finest and most expensive bracelet of the shop. it must be lying somewhere and crying out to me, but look as i might i cannot find it. it's nerve-wracking.

on the other hand, out of the blue, this morning i found two of these old pouches in a tiny carton in the stock. hello again! a few years ago i had many of these with different prints. very good to keep small necessities in your handbag.

so maybe one day the bracelet will show-up again, somewhere on the bottom of a carton in the cellar. if it doesn't get thrown out without my noticing... but i've had enough of being helter-skelter 12.12.12... today is the day where i start being terribly organised - beyond recognition!

new print

puah, don't look outside... instead, let's get cosy inside.

remember the cushion cover with the sparrows? (cf post 24.7.12.) here's the new hand print with the golden dragon fly. i'm all for a cushion mix and this one adds interest and the cream white base lightens up any colour combination you already have. a touch of light is welcome in the darker season!

right on time

the right timing is of essence for most things, but alas, i'm not particularly good at it. so i've effectively waited for weeks to post the picture of the cushion cover with handprinted sparrows until the 3 pieces i had were long sold. congrats.  

but now comes to good bit: i might get some more cushion covers. in the future. (they probably are in the process of being printed in zurich right now).

i also restocked on t-towls, some new prints and some familiar ones.

a little bit of neon

let's have a break from room4 today!

i know some shriek with horror but i really like touches of neon around the house, especially in combination with natural texture, be it wood, linen or a woven fabric. it's all in the mix...

floral details

a bit unlucky i forgot my umbrella in my friend's car last monday! while another copious rain shower is hitting the street we can wonder at floral details without getting wet...
lately i have been taking pictures of these floral details in prints, postcards, t-towls etc because they are slowly selling out and sadly i cannot restock. i can only hope the french trio will change its mind and revive the production, sooner or later.

just married...

today i cought a glimpse of the royal wedding, the key moment when the prince put on the ring to his princess: it took a bit of a push! so i thought i might make a post about rings today, but what did i get just then: a parcel from france including above t-towl and cushion. very appropriate... so now the wedding season is on and there you are with 2 fresh ideas in case you're after a wedding present. happy week-end everyone.

animal farm

a rhinoceros and a moustachey fish in your own home? sounds dreadful on paper but looks good on your walls. very low maintenance.

graphic grace

between unashamedly feminine and girly, there is a thin line not to be crossed : we want the chocolate but not the toothache! or by terms of brüno, the first is really "ach ja" and the second so very "nischt, nischt"...
these cushions come in white or grey as a canvas to your immagination (50x50cm).

out and about

this is the time of the year when squirrels gather nuts frenetically so they may be prepared for winter and have a proper feast in december. inspired by this i'm off to paris for a few days and a few little but shiny fairs. hope to come back with a lot of nuts for the shop!!

striking simplicity

when life seems complex enough it's a comfort to pare down the walls at home (or in the office!). these simple silkscreen prints leave enough white space to make you breathe, poetic to make your mind go wander.

lucky strike

some have had the brilliant idea to be born just before christmas. and some were stupid enough to make them their love interest! as if it weren't difficult enough to find just one present at the time. of course, this could never happen to me. and i never run out of ideas. but i do commiserate.
