dear friends of the boudoir

wow, wow, wow.... this is a bit special (for me): tomorrow is the last normal day of the shop! 11 years... i honestly dread this day but here are the opening times for last minute christmas shopping on the 24th anyway: 

please note that the store will be open from 11h-15h.

if you see me wearing sunglasses, don't worry, i'll be fine :-)

soon the packing and unravelling of the boudoir will begin, but i hope you will keep this place in fond memory. i for sure will.

ok, it's decided...

please note that on sunday the shop will be open from 14h-18h.

i guess it will be quiet and civilised and i will (hopefully) be able to assist you better (and make nicer presents!) than on the rush days.

coat hanger

excavated but in perfect condition: coat hangers in many colours (white, pink, red, orange, brown and kaki) and sizes (1-5).

they are not on display for lack of space, but do ask for them if you're interested and get special prices!

btw: the papery thing below, i don't know what to call it, also makes for a beautiful present. available in two sizes (28.-/ 36.-) and several colours.

shelf life

2 days ago i sold the last of the slim oak shelves of 1m lenght  (i'm keeping the one on display for myself, thank you very much!).  now there are 2 of the 50cm shelves left (39.-), with which you can still achieve a nice display.

sparkling with Sabrina Dehoff

perhaps you know this irresistible leopard cub from the various cartier adverts... i have cut out this picture from a magazine and pinned the gold brooch with the three dangling crystals (one square, one triangular and one round) on it. for a better look see below.

i know brooches are rarely seen, but a modern piece like this one doesn't look one bit dusty. it instantly adds dash and elegance to an outfit and is really versatile (pin it on your coat, chunky scarf or beanie, turtleneck, jumper, jacket, knit or evening dress).

these days it's almost a romantic thing to get a real card, delivered by the postman!

i have put together sets of 5 cards (5 different motives) with envelopes, lovely and very appropriate for the season's greetings.

i know, it hasn't been snowing yet but the washi paper snowflakes... only few pieces left! 

if you did buy some last year, or the year before and enjoyed decorating with them, now is the time to snatch up the last pieces.

december! opening times

wow, wow, wow! the count-down has really begun now... only 23 days to go to christmas.

it's of course the busy time of the year so please note the december opening times:

mondays are now open! = the best day to come as less busy.
tuesday to friday 12h-19h
saturdays 12h-18h

wednesday december 24th: 11h-15h = the worst day to come as i will be crying (maybe).

the question has been raised if there will be open sundays. hum, yet undecided about sunday december 14 and/or 21. please get back to the blog for information closer to those dates.
