dangerous chemical substances

either you have it in your DNA or you don't: the love for pretty paper. if yes, this picture alone can release a powerful chemical transmitter that will make your mouth water... you see i can be nearly as clever as nobelprice-winner pavlov but fear not, this for once is a very harmless and affordable addiction:)

ikebana

it didn't take kathrin - who sent these pictures - an ikebana course to throw together this elegant arrangement with just two daffodils and a container! clever: line and shape of stems, leaf and vase add unexpected interest to a strikingly modern effect. i'm sure it looks even better in broad daylight :-)

this vase also comes in a smaller size as seen in post of february 24th.

btw, there's help for transparent vases that are difficult to clean: after usage, fill the vase with water and pop in half an alka seltzer, stir well (sounds a bit like a cocktail recipee!).

please call!

...a little retro and so covetable: those little purses are handprinted in england and come in two sizes and another motive with birds. love the grainy touch of the fabric.

how to turn heads...

i still can't get enough of those cute birds. body and head are separate so it both allows to flip the body to create male/female and to move the little head to change its expression in ever so subtle ways. that little fellow on the very left for instance looks like it has a very bad conscience just now... how ingenious is this?
