ceramic order ahoi

a quick pic snatched before the two ceramic dishes went over the counter just a few minutes ago... often enough i only have one piece per colour and so i almost regret to sell the pieces (which of course isn't the idea). since many other colours/shapes are not available in the shop anymore i'm planning on a new order. as always you're welcome to make special orders, get back to me for any questions.

it wasn't planned but today i bought new t-towls, handprinted in zurich. in this case a gold lobster (looks olive green here but it's gold)printed on half linen/half cotton. makes for a very nice present.

boudoir

here's one of the new bracelets. they each have a name and this particular one is called "boudoir"!

it just sold this afternoon and stupid me already regrets ordering only 1 piece... i hope to reorder it in time. at least i had already taken the picture yesterday.

the other colour combinations are being posted soon too.

autumn flowers

guess what... the sunglasses have arrived from london, but well, it's not exactly good timing with the pouring rain! and it's so dark certainly no shades are needed, sigh.

so i'll be back about the sunnies nearer to the weekend.

meanwhile, to cheer me up, i've bought dogroses, the lady selling them to me told me they will last all autumn, loosing some of their crisp in the process, but so am i!

minutes ago i sold the jadegreen bowl shown in the lower picture, it's actually a good deal larger than it looks (diameter 21cm). it was the last piece of that size, but just today i received many bowls in the middle and small size in 5 colours.

preparing for summer...water colours

this morning (ok, noon it was), julia had a difficult choice to make between several bracelets all looking good together. the darker green one was already hers (unfortunately not available anymore) and in the end she took the combo of the fine gold line bracelet and the jade green "scale" bracelet as shown below.

just sold

snow at the end of march... pretty mean, isn't it? when i left the house the thermometer indicated -2, seriously, man!

my plan for this evening is: a big (huge) bowl of pasta and on top of that eastercake. saskia solved the problem in a less calorific way: she tried on this double necklace and it suited her like a charm. so out the door it went!

flown away - want to order it?

you know what it feels like when you return to a shop to buy something you have seen and then you're too late, it's gone!

i sometimes get that feeling when a customer buys a piece of which i either only have one or it's the last...

today that just happened when this tray with the bird was sold. only one piece. and now i want it, badly! as a present for my mother (she doesn't read the blog, but you Papa need to keep your mouth shot) and/or for moi-toute-seule-allein.

now you see the dilemma... should i re-order it at once although i have yet enough of the rest of porcelain on stock?

the porcelain tray has a diameter of 23cm and costs chf 89.- the bird is attached to the tray. the dots and lines are royal blue.

isabel just walked out with these two bracelets on her wrist, lovely combination, isn't it? she sais she normally doesn't wear jewellery at all, so it's an honour for me :-)

just sold this afternoon

didn't know which picture to pick so why not post them both? i prefer the one on top but the colour of the stones is more accurate in the second picture. 

the half-transparent green-grey colour of the stone is very elegant with the gold. i had 2 pair made on special order with that smaller size creole ... so i have one pair left! (if possible i will try to reorder next time).

busy as a bee

just sold this bracelet with the two bees. more bees are available in the shop: the long necklace as shown on the right and a shorter one. more pictures of the necklaces to follow.

yellow in small touches around the house is totally underrated!

but i just sold these pieces this afternoon and had to take a picture before they went out of the door: pure white, isn't that just beautiful?

more colours

this afternoon i sold one of the twin bracelets in red and this reminded me that i haven't yet posted about the other colours as i said i would. so here are the other colours: turquoise, nude (almost white), all gold and multi-colour. i also had a dark blue one with tiny lapislazuli stones but it's sold.

just snapped a picture of that vase before wrapping it bedause unfortunately that middle size has sold out now... i hope i can reorder it when the other sizes have sold too.

a young lady, an apple and an arrow, do your maths...

the arrow cuff bracelet as shown on the apple in the middle just sold to a young lady who finished her paper for a-levels today. congrats and i trust she will have a good week-end!

ps: only just realised it's friday 13! young lady insisted she was going to wear the arrow cuff right away: odds are she is going to wreak havoc this evening...

i'm not to be pitied either for i'm off work tomorrow and so will enjoy a long week-end. there must be some benefit to be your own boss after all...

please note that the shop will be closed tomorrow saturday!

screen prints on cushions

no... it's not a good picture and i placed way too many cushions on that poor little (makeshift) sofa. but it's the only photograph i took when sybill brought me her screenprinted cushions in december. the grey and soft pink owl&stars cushion were sold before christmas and the pink (the one sitting in front)just went over the counter today. sybill, put on your apron, get cracking with your screen and colours and bring me new cushions, please!

marie pour le boudoir

today these two lovelies were sold and i'm particularly happy as marie makes them exlusively for le boudoir! well at least for now...

the tiny ones are perfect to put some jewellery in (cf post of 11.11.11) - take your cue boyfriends and husbands! - and now marie is also sowing a bit larger pieces with zipper that can be used as pencil cases or make-up bag to go in your handbag.
