get the cabinet

boy, did i not expect to post this picture so soon! all projects involving a drill usually take me ages, or never get executed at all... again, it's not the best picture, but innit just lovely?
get it in the open or closed version for chf 98.-

hot stuff continued

here comes the wall clinging variety of the curiosity cabinet... unfortunately it takes a drill to hang it, but as soon as it hangs in the shop i will post a picture of it.

crystal clear

unsurprisingly i couldn't wait to fill my new curiosity cabinet, so here comes my own picture of it and as you can see it's a whole lot messier than the professional picture by the manufacturer, hi, hi... sorry, i couldn't be bothered to strip the surroundings to the bones!

it amused me to try and duplicate the ingredients of below picture like the bird, the cup, the card and the pens (but left the dead bear out), nevertheless it turned out the boudoir-way, don't you think?

space invaders

it's not the first time i use this title and the ones following this blog from the beginning know my enduring obsession with anything seeminglessly invading airspace. so i love, love this acrylic cabinet and now you can get it in the shop! randomly put things into the cabinet and you'll get judicious exposure, that's what i call magic...

lazy summer days are here

school holidays have just begun in zurich and with victorious skies like that i expect quiet days at the shop. look what happens in the evening when the sun is low and hits the mirrorbal: le boudoir turns into a discotheque! let's turn on the music now...

ok, here's another picture of the melanim bowls where you can actually see them... so pack your bag with delicious food and a blanket, throw in some candles and off you go on a romantic picnic.

waiting for godot

since last autumn i have the luxury of a kitchen at the back of the shop, but sadly it turned into a warehouse in the blink of an eye. how many months/years will it take me to revert it into a kitchen? so in the meantime i like to bring something to eat from home and for this purpose the melanim bowls in various sizes are pretty and convenient. great for picnics too.

let's get organised! on a mission nearly impossible... (for me, that is)

heck, the second half of the year has already begun... did i really say that - finally! - in 2010 i would get more organised? i still spend countless hours looking for things that seem to misteriously disappear...
those little felt flower bowls are made in nepal and come in 3 sizes (this is the smallest 12cm). practical on your bedside table or near the entrance to deposit your jewellery so you KNOW where it is and avoid the all the hassle of knots.
