more animals... in yesterday's post i said knitted, but actually they're crocheted.

a chap to love

sitting at the front of the bus this morning the busdriver and i saw a black cat laying all sprawled out in the middle of the road, taking a sun bath and enjoying life. it only ran away once the driver blew the horn. this cat is my personal hero.

so a little tribute to animals today and tomorrow as i received new knitted toys last week. this little dog for one is so cute that even adults can't resist! keep this one in mind next time you need a present for a child.

ps: pictured dog was given to a family with a very interested jack russel, i hope he will treat it well...

this is probably ment for children, but when i saw these stamp sets i wanted one for myself. there are two sets to chose from: vintage objects or nature.

be it for an invitation, a birthday card... it's fun to add stamps to a drawing or adorn a paper printout of a picture with a stamped object in a standout colour (as shown above with the red glasses or bird).

but which one should i take now?

ready, steady... go! maybe the chemical substances (see below) got to my head or it's the close vicinity of the polytechnicum: look at this retrostyle molecular building set i have bought for the shop! it's not because i was a disaster in natural sciences that i don't enjoy to just follow my natural instinct to play with its endless possibilities of variation.

i think you should have your own personal molecule on your office table not only to look smart (or endearingly naive) but to relax with it when speaking on the phone (or waiting for phonies to take your call).

some have had the brilliant idea to be born just before christmas. and some were stupid enough to make them their love interest! as if it weren't difficult enough to find just one present at the time. of course, this could never happen to me. and i never run out of ideas. but i do commiserate.
