a bit of a crime

i pulled out this lovely orchid branch of my maybe 5 year old plant at home, it's a bit criminal!

the subtle colours of above vases don't really show, there's just not enough day light for pictures these days... bah, much better to have a look in the shop anyway!

below some japan ware (you could never tell there's 40% wood in the material)that is on sale in the shop.

a nice surprise

just when i thought this post was about scarves for headbands (part 2) it turns out it's about luxenburgerli and flowers!

so there was a candy colour invasion in the shop... the lush bouquet of flowers went straight into this large glass vase (for more pictures of the vase cf post entry 10.4. and 2.4.) and the luxenburgerli had to submit to a (very) short photo session before reaching their final destination/destiny.

but they looked fine on the coloured plates, didn't they?

tomorrow i'll be working till 4pm, then i'll jump onto the tgv to paris for a couple of days to attend shows and for the rest of the week i'll be off work... have a good time and see you back on july 15th!

yesterday this new vase with the thin blue line arrived from denmark. lovely and fresh.

a bunch of tulips

looks like i have seen too many episodes of the series "the Tudors" where heads were cut off... at any rate i discovered 3 tulip stumps in the bouquet that had to be put in smaller containers. but they still look pretty!

manuela's sideboard

this entire week i have been a woman on a mission: deliver tax declaration... uffff, i'm nearly done.

so i'm thankful manuela sent me this picture i can post today :-)

last week manuela came to collect her ordered combination of the stacked system and here you can see the result! 

i really like the mix of ash wood and white elements and the way she stacked it. i'm taking notes! detail: if you look more closely you can see that the backboard of the lower element on the left is pink.

today i received delivery from denmark, among other things this new vase of mouthblown grey glass with a wooden base (laquered in grey to match the glass) that comes seperatelay. so you can use it with or without the base. very muuto if you ask me.

here's a ton

the other day i received a palett of glassware. if you consider that the shop window is 1m70 long it's easier to imagine the size of the carton. err... didn't realise i had ordered quite as much.

the problem you see, is to find a place to squeeze the stuff into! time to remember the wise man's mantra: sell it, so you don't have to store it :-)

below the pics of the vase which is my favorite of the bunch. there is something unreal about it (ghost in a bottle/jellyfish). the technique that goes into making it is quite elaborate with 3 man working on the vase at the same time! with it's size it's quite a spectacle on it's own, flowers optional! it costs chf 118.-

autumn flowers

thanks to Nathalie who mailed me this beautiful picture. this vase is named "classic vase" for a reason!

reminds me a of post entry 03.06.13 "peace & quiet"...

i expect a new delivery of these vases in various shapes and colours in the next two weeks.
