a neon yellow firework

remember the made-in-zurich-hand-printed-cushions? well, i have a new version to show you with a neon yellow flower print... striking the right balance between old fashioned and today's taste for neon.

unfortunately it looks like these will be the last pieces printed on linen. the 3 makers have started printing on cotton now as it's less susceptible to wrinkling. bad idea, if you ask me! i'd go for beauty over convenience.  

the other print that is currently available is the neon orange dragonfly. unfortunately this one is already printed on cotton (same beige colour).

new screen print cushions are here! olive green beetle on beigewhite cotton or neon orange dragonfly on beigegrey linen (lovely texture!). also on stock again: the print with the sparrows and the dragon fly in gold. click on the label cushion below to see more pictures.

please note that the shop will be closed between christmas and new year. the shop reopens on january 3rd.

this is the new t-towl print. the mint blue print i also have as cushion cover (50x50cm).

restocked

a stylist had picked the t-towl with the blue bike in my shop for this shot that appeared in the magazine saisonküche of july. now it's finally in stock again.

the carmen cards

carmen brought me new cards, i mean with patterns we haven't had before. she buys the sheets with handprinted paper directly in japan and then she and her sister busy themselves with cutting, glueing... precision work.

i could look at these prints for a long long time, there are so many beautiful details, shapes and colour juxtapositions... and the velvety texture. japanese refinement at its best.

there are plenty of new patterns but i'll wait to show you some more because they're quite christmassy with delicate gold and silver in it. anti-dote to kitsch, i promise! keep posted.
