last pieces!

memories

i'm just back from my grandmother's (...) where i took picture of old pictures, for example showing my grandmother and grandfather, each sitting on a donkey in sicily back in february 1940 on their honeymoon trip. beautiful old pictures. i have to have them framed.

all the family members

i've had these magnetic frames for many years now, but what's new is the neon colours. a dash of zingy colours that's very welcome on grey days like this one.

a couple of years ago, francis gave me one of my favorite gifts ever: an album containing the most ugliest photos of him, me or us together; pictures of horrible moments on trips, big smiles with salad between teeths, a grease stain on a silk blouse, pimples, worst ever seen hair days, unintended grotesque faces etc... photos that make you blush of shame and that you would gladly bin instantly. seriously, one shouldn't. each time i leaf through that album i have to cry with laughter and i'm so glad he sneakily kept these pictures!

the year of the rabbit

i just learnt today that this is the year of the rabbit. maybe i have been feeling it because i was drawn to order this wood rabbit in grey and nature. and today brigitte brought me some more of the magnets she makes and i, at my dignified age, couldn't resist and picked the rabbits...

you have seen the magnetic frames for many years in the shop and they still are a neat idea for a present.
i rapidly snatched a picture of these two because each is the last piece in red/white in its respective shape. farewell and goodbye!

think pink

don't you think all this greenery looks much more mouthwatering with the pink than in real life? try it on the fridge and it may well preserve you from last minute beach panic plans next summer...

favorite watering place

for moi life is all about style & glamour... and looking into a mirror. the fridgedoor basically is the gate to hell, but now - transfixed by my own beauty - i say: vade retro sausages and beer, where's the gelée royale and water? if you want to outfox your lesser instincts... you know what to do! new magnetic frames to be found in the boudoir.
