i have a few news up my sleeve but wanted to post this picture i've just taken first: it's not really about the bird, but its beak is pointing to my new card...

the new season is upon us and for me this means: tedious tax declaration is keeping me from doing much more enjoyable things like feeding the blog...

so here's a welcome pause from enemy activity :

i'm back from paris and wanted to post some more pics but haven't gotten around to transfer them. so in between this one here... mariana has come across another idea of what to do with masking tape on internet and here's the result: a luminous and perfectly executed miniguarland that makes a cheerful addition to any birthday card. a little of diy never hurt anyone!
btw, did anyone notice the perfectly mirrored colour concordance of the last two pictures below? (street in paris versus paperbird). probably not, so that's why i point it out here...
