an interesting colour scheme

... if i may say so myself. 

blue notes and mustard mixed in to beiges and woody browns with a touch of gold.

here you can find all the "usual suspects" = my favorite ingredients to a little still life: some wood, some glass and some ceramic, so you get glossy versus matt and transparent versus opaque. add a potted plant or other vegetal, it makes all the difference. for the sake of the colour scheme i have a bit neglected the aspect of mixing shapes cleverly. will do next time. 

pics taken this morning in my own home (and yes: this is definitely the most organised spot in our flat, the rest is rather a jolly mess).
